Mrs. Florence J. Kemp
Mrs. Florence J. Kemp, 97, of the Assumption Nursing Home, died of infirmities at the nursing home.
Mrs. Kemp was born Dec. 26, 1888, in Martins Ferry, a daughter of William H. and Carolyne Kaiser Jones, and came to Youngstown in 1928. She was an elementary school teacher in Martins Ferry, had attended Wooster College, was a member of the Youngstown Chautauqua Club, the League of Women Voters and the Trinity United Methodist Church.
Her husband, A. Dee, whom she married Aug. 11, 1921, died Nov. 5, 1945. She leaves a daughter, Miss Janet of Youngstown. Two sisters and two brothers are deceased.
