George F. Marks
George F Marks, 81, of Latrobe RD 6 died Monday in Latrobe Hospital. He was born Oct. 16, 1898, in Unity Township, a son of the late J. Calvin Marks and Mary Hughes Marks. He was a retired employee of Gould and Brown Boveri Co., Greensburg, and a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Youngstown. He was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche Lavelle Marks, in 1973, and one son, Corbett H., in 1942. Surviving are two sons, Edward C. of Latrobe RD 6 and Audley of Latrobe RD 4; three daughters, Mrs. Herman (Louise) Huhn, Mrs. Ivan (Audrey) Chambers, all of RD 6; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, John Oliver of Latrobe RD 6, and two sisters, Mrs. Estella Forsha of Latrobe and Mrs. William (Nina) King of Latrobe RD 4. Services will be held at 11 am Thursday in St. James Lutheran Church, Youngstown, with the Rev. Fred S. Opalinski officiating. Interment will follow in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Youngstown.
