THEODORE HECK, AGE FIFTY, PASSES AWAY
Theodore Heck, fifty years old, died Monday morning at 3:30 o’clock at his home five miles south of Huntington in Lancaster township after a lingering illness of four years. He was seriously ill two weeks. Death was caused by a
complication of diseases.
Mr. Heck was born January 19, 1872, to Henry and Sophia Heck. He married Etta Rosella Sickafoose January 14, 1897. To this union five children were born. One son, Walter, is deceased.
Surviving are the widow, one daughter, Mrs. Mary Mahoney of Fort Wayne, Melvin Heck, Iva Heck and Marvin Heck at home. Two brothers, William Heck of Huntington and George Heck of Jackson township, one half brother, Tra Lingenfelter of near Columbia City and three half sister, Mrs. Lillie Weaver and Mrs. Jennie Lanktree of Andrews and Miss Abbie Lingenfelter of Andrews are also surviving.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday leaving the residence at 1:30 o’clock and going to the Clear Creed M. E. church for services and burial. The Rev. John Farmer will officiate. Burial will be a Clear Creek.
