John D. Wagoner *
John Douglas Wagoner, 78, of Lafayette, passed away at home on Monday, January 5, 2015. Born August 24, 1936 in Burrows, IN, he was the son of the late John E. Wagoner and Mildred (Bending) Horn. John attended Purdue University and honorably served in the U.S. Army.
On August 6, 1961 he married Dawn M. Stout in Indianapolis and she survives. He was a clerk for the U.S. Post Office for 40 years, retiring August 29, 2003. John was an avid bowler and he enjoyed auctions, toy collecting, especially tractors and matchbox cars, mopeds, and his animals.
Surviving with his wife are two sons, Jeffery D. (wife, Tammy) Wagoner and Blake D. Wagoner both of Lafayette and two grandchildren, Andrew D. and Drake A. Wagoner.
