Patricia Hostler *
Patricia Ann Hostler, 82, of Kendallville, Indiana, died Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at her residence.
She was born March 26, 1941, in Frankfort, Indiana, to Ray and Margaret (McMann) Meyers.
On September 27, 1989, she married Steven Ray Hostler, Sr.
Mrs. Hostler retired from Life, Inc. in Fort Wayne where she provided in-home health care for disabled young adults.
Pat greatly enjoyed going for drives in the country with her husband.
Surviving are her husband, Steven Hostler, Sr. of Kendallville; a daughter, Kristine (Ralph) Shockey of Crawfordsville; three sons, Robert Barnes of Columbia, South America, Troy (Rose) Barnes of Crawfordsville, and Denny Barnes of Brimfield; a stepdaughter, Christine Bradley of Wallace, Texas; a stepson, Steven Hostler, Jr. of Indiana; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Mike Meyers of Frankfort and Jack Meyers of Bowls Gap, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Julie Hostler.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 4, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville.
The funeral service will be Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Regan Ford of the First Church of God officiating.
Burial will follow at the Avilla Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Rob Barnes, Denny Barnes, Troy Barnes, Robert Barnes, Andy Hostler, and Travis Hostler.
