George E Roach *
George Erwin Roach, 81, passed away peacefully at his home in Sanger with his family at his side. George was born in McKinney, Texas, on March 15, 1942, to William Jasper Roach and Edith Mae (Taylor) Roach.
On July 10, 1964, George married Mary Jane Thomas in Sherman, Texas. They lacked six months of being married for sixty years. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He and Mary Jane were members of the Church of Christ in Tishomingo, OK. Before his retirement, George was a manager for Digital Switch Corporation for over twenty years.

Those remaining to cherish his memory are his wife of 59 years, Mary Jane of Sanger; three sons, Johnny Lynn Roach of Texas City, Lonnie Erwin Roach of Wylie, and Jimmy Shockey of West Virginia; sister, Geraldine Overstreet of Tishomingo, OK; and five grandchildren. One son, Randy Lee Roach, and brother, Billy Ray Roach, precede George in death.
