Billy Joe Shockey *
Billy Joe Shockey of Lee City, Kentucky, beloved husband of Rhonda Crase Shockey, departed this life Friday, July 5, 2024 at the age of 72 years, 8 months 23 days. He was a son of the late Henry Clay Shockey and Katherine Craig Shockey born in Lee City, Kentucky, on October 12, 1951. He was a Bus Driver for the Wolfe County Board of Education and was also a farmer. He is survived by his loving wife, Rhonda Crase Shockey of Lee City, Kentucky; one son, Billy J. “B.J.” Shockey (Yolanda) of Ezel, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Hayden Shockey and Koda Shockey; two brothers, Donald Shockey and David “Buzz” Shockey both of Lee City, Kentucky; and two sisters, Patricia “Cookie” Pargen of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky and Sandra Kay Meade of Huntington, West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Monica Ann Shockey; his parents, Henry Clay Shockey and Katherine Craig Shockey; and one brother, Robert Shockey. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Serving as pallbearers; family and friends.
