Clyde William Lehman
Clyde W. Lehman, 86, of Lenexa which is a suburb of Kansas City, died Monday, April 12.
Mr. Lehman received a masters degree in education from Columbia University, New York. He was superintendent of schools in Nebraska for 50 years before he retired 16 years ago. Clyde served as superintendent of Nuckolls Co.
Clyde was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of Lincoln Masonic Lodge, an Army veteran of World War I, and a member of the Lenexa United Methodist Church. Clyde was born in Greenleaf, Kansas.
Survivors are his widow, Esther, the former Esther Chamberlain of Nelson; two sons, John of Mission Hills and Dr. Phillip of St. Joseph; a daughter, Mrs. Joann Friesenborg of Leawood; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Services were April 15, 1976, at the Newcomer Overland Park Chapel and burial in Johnson County Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
