DALE CISCO, 63, of Merrimac, W.Va., passed away Monday, October 23, 2017, at Pikeville (Ky.) Medical Center. Born December 30, 1953, in Williamson, W.Va., he was the son of the late Wallace and Belle Mahon Cisco of Beech Creek, W.Va. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Misty Dawn Cisco, and two sisters, Cordie Justus and Clara Doyle. Dale was former employee of Appalachian Regional Hospital, South Williamson, Ky., where he worked as a cook and in the laundry service. Prior to his illnesses, he was an avid fisherman and hunter. Survivors include his wife, Deborah York Cisco of Merrimac, W.Va.; one daughter, Melissa Ann Cisco (Jamie) Vance of Merrimac, W.Va.; two grandchildren, James Hunter Vance and Lindsey Cheyenne Vance; one brother, Franklin (Mary) Cisco of Williamson, W.Va.; three sisters, Dalene (Terry) Diamond of Bell, Fla., Dixie (Johnny Mike) Charles of South Williamson, Ky., and Clursie Blankenship of Beech Creek, W.Va. Also surviving is a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, October 26, 2017, from the Hatfield Funeral Chapel, Toler, Ky. Burial will follow in Merrimac (W.Va.) Cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
