Dolores Jeanne Cotner

Dolores J. , 82, Logansport, passed away at 11:55 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28, , in McKinney Place. Born Dec. 4, , in Logansport, she was the daughter of Marvin A. and Clara Mae Heck. On June 12, , in Logansport, she was married to Richard L. Cotner, who survives.

Dolores was a long-time, faithful member of New Waverly United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women. In earlier years she sang in the church choir. She was a member of the Miami County Extension Homemakers Club and the Gideons International Auxiliary. She enjoyed water skiing, but most especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are sons, Richard M. “Rich” (Deb) Cotner, Logansport and Randy J. (Barb) Cotner, Canal Winchester, ; daughter, Rebecca Jeanne “Becky” (Robert) Pear, Peru; and sister, Patricia () Jennings, Marion. Also surviving are grandchildren, Tabitha (Dana) , Angie Pear, Sean Pear, Tasha Cotner, Cotner, Kyle Cotner and Allison Cotner; and great-grandchildren, Paula Rae Pear, Emma Mae Hildebrand, Owen Cotner-Graves and Josie .

A son, Ross Cotner, preceded her in death.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at the New Waverly United Methodist Church. Rev. Chris Rife and Rev. Mary Eileen Spence will officiate. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, April 2, at Kroeger Funeral Home and from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday at the New Waverly United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
