Frances J Shockey
CROWLEY-Frances J. Shockey passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Monday, November 11, 2019 at the age of 85.
Celebration of life: 1 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2019 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, November 14, 2019 at the funeral home.
Frances was born April 17, 1934 to the late Byron and Mittie Avirett in Johnson County, Texas.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents, Byron and Mittie Avirett; husband, Henry R. Shockey; and son, Emory Ray Shockey.
Survivors: Daughters, Ann Shockey Garcia and husband Al; Wanda Heath; sons, Jimmy Shockey; Robbie Shockey and wife, Manon; step-children, H.R. Shockey, Jr.; Dorothy L. Beaumont; Martin E. Shockey; James T. Shockey, Sr; T. Paul Shockey; 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; and many friends. Serving as honorary pallbearers are, Chad Shockey, Anthony Garcia, Steve Bell, Kevin Griffis, Kyle Morrison and Jon Detty.
