Gregory Peter Cover
Gregory Peter Cover. Age 55, of Warren. Greg was born at Holy Cross Hospital in Detroit, Michigan on November 7, 1956, the son of Robert Eugene Cover and Catherine Leone Allen. Greg was a lifetime resident of Warren, Michigan and attended St. Annes Elementary School and Warren High School. A graduate of Macomb County Community College, he attended the University of Michigan Dearborn Campus and Wayne State University in Detroit. A lifelong member of St. Anne’s Catholic Community. He was a former employee of the City of Warren, the Wayne State Library, the Cover Funeral Home in Dundee and was also a machinist by trade. He is the brother of Thomas (Julie Ann) Cover of Bloomfield Hills, Robert (Sherry) Cover of Dundee, Michigan and Karen Cover (Ted Cushard) of Clinton Township. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday 3-8 PM at Lyle Elliott Funeral Home, 31730 Mound Road north of 13 Mile in Warren. He will lie in state Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 9:30 AM until Mass at 10 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church, 32000 Mound Road in the Old Village of Warren. Officiating will be Rev. Alberto Bondy, pastor of the church. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township. Arrangements by Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Dundee, MI.
