Shannon Lee Miller (born March 10, 1977) is an American former artistic gymnast. She was the 1993 and 1994 world all-around champion, the 1996 Olympic balance beam champion, the 1995 Pan American Games all-around champion, and a member of the gold medal-winning Magnificent Seven team at the 1996 Olympics. Miller is the most decorated U.S. female gymnast in Olympics history with a total of seven medals. With a combined total of 16 World Championships and Olympic medals between 1991 and 1996, she is the second-most decorated American gymnast, male or female, behind Simone Biles. She was also the most successful American athlete at the 1992 Olympics, winning five medals. Her Grandmother is a Shockey. |

Eva Shockey (born January 5, 1988) is an author, a top TV personality, a rising social media star (2M followers & counting), a lifestyle blogger, an acclaimed bow hunter, a conservationist and a brand ambassador. Forbes called her an “[outdoor lifestyle] brand-building force to be reckoned with.” Shockey entered the scene about 15 years ago as the co-host of her father Jim Shockey's television show on Outdoor Channel -- Jim Shockey's Hunting Adventures. On the extreme adventure series, she can be seen scaling rugged mountains 8,000+ feet above sea level, camping out under a blanket of stars in subzero temperatures, and trekking through the wildlands of the Yukon territory and beyond. Hal Shockey was a Canadian outdoorsman. He spent most of his adult life in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and worked in road construction. After retiring from road working at the age of sixty-six, his son, Jim Shockey, invited Hal to work for his outfitting show and company. From that point, Hal Shockey became an important character on his son's hit hunting TV show on Outdoor Channel, which airs in America and Wild TV in Canada. Hal Shockey married Lil Shockey. He is related to Jim Shockey, Eva Shockey, Len Johann, and Branlin Shockey. |

Jim Shockey (born 1957) is a Canadian outdoor writer, a professional big game outfitter and television producer and host for many hunting shows. Shockey is the producer and host of Jim Shockey's Hunting Adventures and Jim Shockey's Uncharted on Outdoor Channel and Jim Shockey's The Professionals on Outdoor Channel and Sportsman Channel. He is a retired member of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), serving the rank Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel (HLCol) of the 4th Canadian Ranger Patrol Group. His hunting adventures have spanned six continents and 50 countries. Shockey has been called by Outdoor Life magazine "the most accomplished big-game hunter of the modern era, having taken arguably the most free-range big game species by any living hunter." They also noted that he is "the most influential celebrity in big-game hunting." | |
Craig Vogtsberger began riding in sixth grade when his father bought him a 10-speed bike. He would ride up to 60 miles on weekends in bike tours, eventually paving the way to triathlons, time trials and road racing. While he was serving in the Army National Guard, Vogtsberger was crushed between two Humvees causing TBI and spinal injuries leaving him without control of his left leg and partial control in his left arm. Despite the setback, Vogtsberger has established a successful cycling career in national and world championships, but one sticks out in particular. In his first year of racing Xterra triathlons, Vogtsberger won the national championship and qualified for world championships. Vogtsberger describes his favorite part of cycling as mental, “the physical and mental zone I enter and everything ceases to exist, especially pain.” Vogtsberger, also a retired U.S. Capitol Police Officer, is currently enjoys sporting events and spending time with his family and friends. |
