Howard R King *
Howard R. King, 73, 1316 W. Fifth St., Marion, died at 9:50 p.m. Saturday at Marion General Hospital.
He was born in Burnt Prairie, Ill. He lived in Anderson for several years and then lived in Marion for 20 years. He retired from Pinkerton Sercurity.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; one daughter, Mrs. George (Betty) Rohrbacher, Alexandria; one son, Carl R. King, Indianapolis; one brother, Herschel King, Indianapolis; one sister, Mamie Manship, Anderson; three grandchildren.
A service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, 2722 S. Washington St., Marion. The Rev. Neil D. Butcher will officiate. Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
