James O. Smalley
James O. Smalley, 89, retired farmer, who resided on Franklin Street in College Corner, died early Wednesday morning at McCullough-Hayes Hospital in Oxford after an illness of several days. Born in Union County, Ind., he was a lifetime resident of the College Corner community.
Surviving are four sons, Harold and Shirlie of College Corner, Claude O. of Richmond and Paul of Middletown, Ohio; a sister; nine grandchildren and 13 grandchildren.
Services for Mr. Smalley were held Friday at the Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Glen M. Youngman, pastor of the Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in the College Corner Cemetery.
