Joey W Munn *
Joey W. Munn, Sr., 66, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away in his home Friday, April 25, 2025.
Born on January 11, 1959, he was the son of the late Anna (Miller) of Waynesboro, PA and Ralph Munn of Coward, SC.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessi Miller of Stuarts Draft, VA; Step Daughter, Carrie Cotton of Waynesboro, PA; Grandchildren, Austin Zeger, Alyssa Jones, Chase Koontz, Hannah Cotton, Mason Koontz, William Harman, and Lucas Harman of Waynesboro, PA; Sisters, Laura Miller and Linda Besore of Waynesboro, PA and Merytre Rodriguez of GA; Brother, Thomas Munn of Waynesboro, PA; and many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Son, Joey W. Munn, Jr.; Stepdaughter, Shannon Shockey; Sister, Deborah Labbe; Brothers, Earl Munn and Kenneth Miller.
Joey was a lifelong resident of Waynesboro and enjoyed spending his days sitting outside greeting his friends and their dogs as they walked by. Joey enjoyed fishing and knew all the good mushroom spots. He enjoyed spending time in Chincoteague, VA. He could be found with a smile on his face and a kind word to all. His family will miss his jokes and quick wit. Joey’s grandchildren were the light of his life, and they will carry many memories with them. We are at peace knowing he has been called home to be with his son, Joey, and dog, Maxwell.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
