With heavy hearts, we announce the upcoming celebration of the extraordinary life of Juanita Marie Graham, age 85 of Moorefield, WV, who passed away Wednesday morning, October 16, 2024, at her residence with family at her side. Born on September 15, 1939, near Moorefield, WV, she was a daughter of the late James Franklin Hose and Lola Marie Malcolm Hose. She was also preceded in death by brothers Jesse, George, Ray & Richard Hose and sister, Linda Miller and two infant siblings.
Her dedication to caring for others, both young and old, as a caregiver in childcare and eldercare, exemplified her selfless nature and unwavering commitment to those in need. Juanita found joy and fulfillment in spending time with her family, sharing stories, and basking in the warmth of their love during family dinners and reunions.
Juanita’s love for trivia shows like Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy showcased her sharp mind and quick wit, always impressing those around her with her vast knowledge of movies and TV shows. Her passion for classic westerns and her ability to recall details of beloved actors and their works brought light and laughter to those gathered around her.
Surviving is a son, David (Bonnie) of Moorefield, WV; a daughter, LaDonna (Will) Runion of Moorefield, WV; two brothers, Curtis Hose of Winchester, VA and Marston Hose of Palo Pinto, TX; a sister, Edna Stone of Romney, WV; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday, October 21, 2024, at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with Pastors Mark Flynn & Michael Funkhouser officiants. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Gardens near Moorefield. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of services.
