Lina R Trexler *
Lina Rae Trexler, age 73 of Perry, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on December 30, 2022. She was born on September 22, 1949 in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, to the late Weller and Emma Marie (Robbins) Stevenson. Lina attended Madison High School and was a member of American Legion Post 336, as well as Immaculate Conception Church in Madison. She retired in 2015 from Office Max working in the Account Call Center, specifically with the larger accounts. She loved her family and friends unconditionally, always putting their needs in front of her own. After holidays and parties, you could always find her cleaning up the kitchen. She enjoyed taking her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews to dinner and the movies. Lina also enjoyed spending time with her friends at the casino. She is survived by her sons, Sean (Diane) Kirk of Richmond Hill, Georgia, and Scott English of Perry, Ohio, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; sister Peggy (Neal) Shockey of Bradenton Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband Thomas “Tim” David Trexler, son Jimmy Kirk, and brother Robert (Harriet) Altomare. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 6-8PM at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Ave., Painesville, Ohio 44077. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 11:00AM at Johnson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Perry Cemetery, Perry.
