Mrs. Florence Ferryman
Mrs. Florence Ferryman, aged 38, wife of Eldon Ferryman, well known farmer of the Hathaway Road, three miles southwest of Milford Center, passed away at 11:50 o’clock Wednesday morning in their home, following a long illness. A tumor on the brain, was given as the cause of death. Mrs. Ferryman was born in Pike County, O., and had been resident of the Milford Center community for the last nine years. She was a member of the Milford Center Methodist Episcopal Church. She was born October 19, 1900 to Jess E. and Emma Hunt. Her mother is deceased. Her father lives in Baltimore, Ohio. She was united in marriage with Mr. Ferryman in September, 1924. Surviving besides her father and her husband are two brothers, Emerson Hunt of Baltimore and Harvard Hunt of Pomeroy and two children Mr. and Mrs. Ferryman took from the Children’s Home at Worthington, Robert and Regina. Funeral services Friday afternoon at two o’clock at the Methodist Episcopal Church in Milford Center with Rev. Robert King in charge. Interment in the Mechanicsburg Cemetery in charge of Funeral Directors Davis and Byers of Milford Center.
