Mrs. Nellie C. Shockey
MRS. NELLIE C. SHOCKEY, widow of the late Jacob Shockey, of 919 Dewey Ave. died at the Washington County Hospital Saturday at 9:30 p.m. Following an illness of about three months of complications, aged 78. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren and the Phlathea Bible Class, a daughter of the late Charles F. and Eleanore Houser Koppisch. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Earl S. Piook; one son, John E. Shockey both of Hagerstown, one sister, Mrs. Clayton Miller, also Hagerstown, two granddaughters, also a number of nieces and nephews. Body was removed to the Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, where Friends may call. Services will be held at the chapel Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Dewilt Miller officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Family will meet friends from 7:30 to 8:30 Monday evening.
