Mrs. Simon Shockey
The funeral will be held at the Tufts-Danner Funeral home here Sunday at 2:30 p.m. for MRS. SIMON SHOCKEY, 83, who died at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital. The Rev. Ernest Hull will officiate and burial will be in Abilene cemetery. Mrs. Shockey was born at Williamsport, Pa., Jan. 8, 1870. She came to Dickinson County in 1890. Her husband, the late Simon M. Shockey, was a member of the Shockey and Landes firm. He died in 1938. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. W. J. Nicolay, Abilene, and Mrs. Lloyd Beach, Hays.
