Robert Clyde Cover
Robert Clyde Cover was born on April 15, 1953 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was one of four children born from the union of Robert Eugene Cover and Catherine Leone (Allen) Cover. He was a 1971 graduate of Warren High School, 1973 graduate of Macomb County Community College, and a 1974 graduate of Wayne State University Mortuary Science Department.
He had formerly worked for the Lyle Elliot Funeral Home, Temrowski Funeral Home, and the A.H. Peters Funeral Home. In 1984, Bob and his wife Cheryl purchased the Buhl Funeral Home in Dundee. They were an integral part of the local community for the past 34 years until Bob’s retirement due to his health in October. He was a Past President of Michigan Funeral Directors Association District #2.
Robert Clyde Cover, age 65, died Tuesday, November 6, 2018. He leaves wife Cheryl; children: Paul (Lindsey) Cover and Carol (George) Allard of Allen Park; sister: Karen Cover (Ted Cushard) of Clinton Township; sister-in-law: Julie Cover of Bloomfield Township; grandchildren: Lucas, Noah, and Miles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation today from 1:00-8:00pm at Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh in Dundee. Funeral service, 11am; Saturday; November 10, 2018 at St. John Lutheran Church, 460 Riley with visitation at 10. Burial at Maple Grove.
