Robert L. Stineback *
Mr. Robert LeRoy Stineback, 69, of Portland St., Knox, died Wednesday, April 28, 2004, at his home following an illness.
He was born Sept. 11, 1934, in South Bend to George and Esther (Hickman) Stineback, and had lived in Knox all his life.
Mr. Stineback retired from Bethlehem Steel.
On April 17, 1953, in Winamac, Ind., he married Cristal Lee King, who died Nov. 28, 2001.
Also preceding him in death were his parents.
Surviving are three daughters, Mary Alice (James Jr.) Meadows of Knox, Judy of Nashville, Ind., and Jeanette Jelinek of Culver, Ind.; two sons, Kenneth of Grovertown and Timothy of Leiters Ford, Ind.; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel, with Rev. Leon Pomeroy officiating. Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until the service. Burial will be in Fletcher Cemetery, Hamlet.
