Roy L Lambert *
Roy Lee Lambert, Sr., age 75, of Westminster, died Thursday January 1, 2004 at York Hospital in York, PA.
He was born October 25, 1928 in Rocky Gap, VA the son of the late Jesse A. Lambert and the late Mary Belle Owen Lambert.
He was the husband of Norma J. Lambert (nee Ravenscroft).
He was a retired Shipping and Receiving Administrator for General Electric Company. He served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict from 1948–1952. He is a member of the U.S.S. Rochester Association. He was a Life Member of the VFW Westminster #467 and the Westminster American Legion Post #31.
Devoted father of Rhonda Lynne Lambert of Westminster and Roy Lee Lambert, Jr. of Westminster. Dear brother of Edgar W. Lambert of Middle River, Ada M. Metten of Fulton, MD, Juanita M. Punte of Fulton, MD and the late James B. Lambert. Also survived by three grandsons and one granddaughter.
Funeral Service will be held Monday January 5, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Burrier-Queen Funeral Directors, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) with the Rev. O.F. “Bud” Kibbe officiating.
Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD
Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home on Sunday from 3-5 PM and on Monday from 10-11 A.M.
