Sandy McClane *
Sandy McClane of Hewitt passed away July 27, 2022, at the age of 78.
Sandy was born July 4, 1944, in Waco, Texas, the daughter of the late John Wesley and Myrtle Elizabeth (Hudson) Meador. She graduated from University High School and 4-C Business College. While working at McDonald Automotive, she met Louis Daniel McClane in Waco. Later, on June 25, 1966, they married in Waco. After fifty-two years of marriage, he preceded her in death on October 20, 2018.
Much of her life, she was employed by various automotive businesses to include Dana Corp., Cobbs Automotive, McDonald Automotive and Napa Auto Parts. She enjoyed camping, cooking and fishing. She dearly loved her dog, Peaches.
Also preceding her in death was a brother, John Wesley (Butch) Meador.
Survivors include Michele Shockey and husband Glenn, Louise Diane McKee and husband Jesse; a brother, Ronnie Meador and wife June; five grandchildren Garett Shockey and wife Callista, Brandt Shockey wife Makenzee, Elizabeth McKee, Steven McKee, Amanda McKee; great grandchildren, Brook, Ellie and a sister-in-law, Ruby Vanita McClane.
