Mrs. Susan Hughes
Mrs. Susan Hughes, the wife of Eli Hughes, of near Baggaley, died at 2:30 o’clock, this morning, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. P. C. Marks of Baggaley, the cause of death being dropsy. She was aged 63 years, one month and two days, and is survived by a husband and the following children: Mrs. A.G. Dixson, of High Point, North Carolina; Mrs. H. C. Mershon, of Unity Township; Miss Gertrude Hughes at home; Miss Nettie Belle Hughes, at home; Mrs. J. C. Marks, of Baggaley; Sidman Hughes, of Whitney; George W. Hughes, of Unity Township, and I.S. Hughes, Esq., of Port Huron, Mich. The funeral services will be held at the Marks home at 9:30 o’clock, Wednesday morning, the Rev. Bracken being in charge. The interment will follow at Youngstown.
