Funeral services for Joe Lee Shockey, 73, of Forsyth, Mo., were held June 11, 2019, in the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, in Forsyth, with burial in the Bradleyville Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth, Mo.
He died June 3, 2019.
Joe was born Oct. 10, 1945, in Brown Branch, Mo., son of Westley and Zelma Blacksher Shockey.
He attended school in Bradleyville. He worked in commercial construction as a stone mason in Mich. and Mo. He enjoyed drinking, fishing, camping, women and drag racing.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Will Boyer and Jim and Merle Shockey.
Survivors include his sons, Joey L. Shockey, of Kansas City, Mo. and Jeffrey L. Shockey and wife, Angela, of Garrison, Mo; daughters, Lisa M. Isabell, of Kansas City, Kan., Bobbi Jo Shockey, of Branson and Martha Nicole Shockey, of Phoenix, Ariz.; sisters, Phyllis Harris, of Ozark, Mo., Sharon Tate, of Rockaway Beach, Mo., Barbara Morgan, of Harrison, Ark. and Sheila Davis and husband, Ed Davis, of Taneyville, Mo. and 12 grandchildren.
