Mrs. Verna L Shockey
Mrs Verna L [Schidler] Shockey, 67, of 611 S 16th St, died Dec 11 in Home Hospital where she was admitted the last time Dec 1. She was born in the area of Granville Bridge, south of here and had resided most of her life in the Lafayette vicinity. In 1921 she was married to Jesse E Shockey who survives with two brothers, John Schidler of Delphi R1 and Harvey Schidler of Anderson. Services were held Dec 14 in Hippensteel Chapel, Pastor Henry C Stolldorf officiating. Interment ws in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
