CRESTON — Walter F. Whittenberger, 75, of Creston, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2001, after a sudden illness.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston, with the Revs. Gerald Keller and Norman Nelson officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.

He was born July 29, 1926, in Poland, Ohio, to Russel and Helen (Heck) Whittenberger and married Jeanette Blewitt on July 3, 1948. She survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, Gary; five grandchildren; a great-grandson; a brother, a sister.
