Services will be on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home 10170 Main Street, New Middletown, Ohio
Visitation: Friends may call on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in New Middletown and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday 1 hour prior to the service.
Newton Falls- Everett F. Seidner, 82 formerly of Petersburg, passed away early Sunday morning at his residence.
Everett was born on December 3, 1924 in East Palestine, Oh., a son of Merl and Tressa Burkey Seidner. He was a life long area resident of Petersburg, Ohio.
He worked in construction for United Excavating Co. and was a self-employed hardwood floor finisher for many years.
He served in the Navy during WWII as a lst Class Seaman and served 4 tours overseas.
He was a member of the New Springfield Lutheran Church, VFW Post #2799 in New Springfield also known as the Triangle Post; Post #3332 in Newton Falls, the Bessemer Croation Club,the St. Lucy Club and the Johnson Club both in Hillsville, Pa.
Everett married the former Virginia Leipply on Dec. 15, 1946 and she passed away on Nov. 11, 1996.
He leaves behind six sons, Ronald (Laura) Seidner of Petersburg, Oh., Kenneth (Judi) Seidner of Jacksonville, Fl., Terry (Marsha) Seidner and Blane Seidner both of Petersburg, Oh., Kevin (Beth) Seidner of Monaca, Pa., Evan (Mary) Seidner of Youngstown, Oh.,one daughter Bonnie (Michael) Woods of Pulaski, Pa.; two sisters Ruth McMillen Of Poland, Oh., and Julia Leipply of Haines City, Fl.; 19 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren. Everett also leaves his extended family Betty Zigler, his companion, and her children Joe Zigler, Don (Chris) Zigler, Tim (Ronda) Zigler and Sherrie Zigler.
Everett was preceded in death by his parents, wife, four brothers Charles, Arthur, Harry and Roy Seidner, two sisters Iva Biss and Doris Redman, one grandchild, and one great-grandchild.
