Julia M Leipply *

LAKE WALES, FLA. – There will be a funeral service on Saturday, April 21, at 10 a.m. at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman, for Julia “Judy” Mabel , 94, formerly of Youngstown, who entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 16.

Julia was born Feb. 19, , in Youngstown, the daughter of Merl and Teresa .

She married Glen Melvin Leipply on Feb. 1, , after the war ended. Together they enjoyed 55 years of marriage, until Glen’s passing on Dec. 30, .

During the war, she worked in the Youngstown Steel Mills as a welder then for General Motors Lordstown, retiring in . She lived most of her life in the Youngstown area, in later years in . She enjoyed knitting, baking, gardening, collecting dolls, traveling and playing her guitar.

She is survived by her children, Donald (Joanne) Leipply of Warren, Carol (Carl) Siembida of and Richard (Charlene) Leipply of Lake Wales; five grandchildren, Andrea (Brian) Lipinski, Michelle (Michael) Mundell, Christopher Leipply, Jeremiah (Kristel) Siembieda and Jacob (Chriss) Siembida; and nine great-grandchildren, Nathan, Brandan, Bryan, Bradd, Glen, Nicholas, Isaac, Noah and Akira.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son Robert; brothers Arthur, Everett, Charles, Harry and Roy; and her sisters, Ruth, Iva and Doris.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 20, , at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.

Interment will be at Zion Cemetery in New Middletown.
