Almira Crouse
COLUMBIANA — Mrs. Elmira Crouse, 86, wife of Solomon Crouse, died in Salem City hospital at 1:30 a.m. today from complications following a fractured hip suffered a week ago.
Mr. and Mrs. Crouse came to Columbiana from North Lima about nine months ago to reside with their grandson, Charles Ramsey of Court street. They recently celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary, having been married in Greenford, May 4, 1871. Mrs. Crouse was born in Pulaski, Pa.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Crouse is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Gilford Ramsey of Youngstown, two grandsons and seven great-gransons.
Funeral services will be held in the Frye funeral home here at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in North Lima cemetery. Friends will be received Saturday afternoon and night.
