Homer G. Shockey
Homer Glenn Shockey, age 91, passed away on September 21, 2016 in Banning California where he had been a resident for 26 years. He was born September 1, 1925 in Malvern, Arkansas. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII as a Pharmacist’s Mate. He worked for Rockwell International for 38 years. He was a Yorba Linda 4H Advisor and a member of Yorba Linda Methodist Church, Banning United Methodist Church and Banning Historical Society.
Homer is survived by his wife of 70 years Margaret Emma, Daughter Glenda (Don) Camp of Riverside CA, son William (Rebecca) Rowley of Las Vegas, NV, 3 grandchildren Todd Wulff, Elizabeth Petty and Sara Bartkowski, and 4 great grandchildren Katherine, Adam, Emma and Samuel.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday October 1, 2016 at 11a.m. at Banning United Methodist Church. Interment will be at Riverside National Cemetery with Navy Military Honors.
Arrangements under the direction of Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont, California.
