Randall J. Gunder *

J. , 67, of Chambersburg, passed away on Sunday, March 8, at his home. Born April 22, 1952 in Waynesboro, he was a son of the late Charles Ira and Margie Opal Gunder.

Randall was a graduate of Waynesboro Area Senior High School. He was employed at early in his life at Landis Machine and most recently as an Independent Courier for AEX. Randall was a member of Street Church where he served as a volunteer greeter. He enjoyed vacationing at the beach, watching football and spending time with his family and his dogs, Bella and Cody.

He is survived by his wife Barbara E. Gunder, whom he married on 28, ; two children, Jaime McCollum and Brian Gunder (Melissa), both of Chambersburg; three grandchildren, Cory Gunder, Javion McCollum and Tereek Darby; one great grandchild, Jaylynne Gunder; and three siblings, Carolyn Papoutis (Nick), Beverly Shockey, and Daryl Gunder (Lori), all of Waynesboro. In addition to his parents, Randall was preceded in death by one grandchild, Jalin Gunder.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at King Street Church, 162 E. King Street, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. Ron will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
