David A. Shockey
David A. Shockey, age 70 of Dayton, passed away July 21, 2019. He was born December 3, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Lucian and Pearline Shockey. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Shockey; and sister, Janet Richter.
David is survived by his brother, Cartis (Mary Ann) Shockey; sisters: Anna (Delmar) Thompson, Carol Corbin and Linda (Ronnie) Arndts; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
David retired from Certified Heat Treating after many years of service. He enjoyed bowling and playing softball.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 am on Friday, July 26, 2019 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. Pastor Bill Laudermilk officiating.
