Judith K. Helmuth
Waynesboro – Mrs. Judith K. (Baker) Helmuth, 78, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Friday, April 16, 2021 in Quincy Village Nursing Home.
Born April 23, 1942 in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Clark and Mary (Bakner) Baker.
Mrs. Helmuth was a graduate of Quincy High School with the Class of 1960.
She was employed by Regency Thermographers for over 30 years.
A member of Clay Hill Union Church, she enjoyed shopping and gardening. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed time spent with her family.
Mrs. Helmuth is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Mr. John W. Helmuth, Sr., who she married June 12, 1960; three children, John W. “Rusty” Helmuth, Jr. of Chambersburg, PA, Joanna Stine (Stacy) of Waynesboro and Justine Helmuth of Hagerstown, MD; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Ralph Baker of State Line, PA; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Mary Helmuth; grandson, Michael J. Shockey; and two brothers, Lennis Baker and Dick Baker.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, April 22, 2021 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 South Broad Street, Waynesboro with Pastor Terry Ulrich officiating. Burial will be private in Mount Zion Cemetery, near Quincy.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, Thursday, in the funeral home.
