Patricia Ann entered into eternal life on Wednesday, Nov. 24, .
Born Jan. 5, , in , to Harold and Betty (Sommer) Christy.
She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Connoquenessing.
Her legacy will be carried on by her husband, Larry, whom she married 10, ; two children; and five grandchildren.
She was a protector, role model and supportive listener. Her sweet disposition carried her far in her many careers and hobbies.
Pat’s variety of jobs started in a retail maternity shop in Charleston, S.C., a housekeeper for many that turned into a caregiver for some, worked in ladies fashions at Kmart, was a secretary for Century 21, was the director of conquest operator services, LPN at Butler Hospital, and on-staff nurse for Just What the Doctor Ordered.
Pat served as a den mother, Sunday school teacher and director of the East Butler Sparks.
She was a kind, loving and loyal friend to many. Pat made it easy for all to love her.
Pat loved spending time at the beach with family, taking bus trips, going to the casino, golfing, bowling, dancing and card club, but most of all spending time with her beloved grandchildren. Earlier in life, she enjoyed hunting and just going to camp.
Pat is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, and her children, Tina (Matthew) and Brian Holt (Allison).
She shared unconditional love with her grandchildren, , Jacob and Elijah Shockey of Lancaster, Pa., and Lukis and Zoe Holt of Butler. Each and every one was special in their own way to “Grammy.”
Also surviving are her brothers, Bob Christy (Peach) and Don Christy (Nancy) and their families; members of the Holt family; and five cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and all aunts and uncles.
The family would like to thank the compassionate staff of Good Samaritan Hospice Concordia.
HOLT – A private memorial service for Patricia Ann Holt, who died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021, will be held later at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements were handled by -Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. St., Butler.
