MARION: Freda May Trubee, age 79, of Marion went to be with the Lord on December 28, 2013.
She was married to Everett “Squeege” Trubee, the love of her life, on December 29, 1950 who went to be with the Lord in 1983. Her mother, Ruth E. (Beck) Rowland also proceeded her in death along with a daughter, a twin sister Greta, and two brothers.
She is survived by children, Debbie (Steve) Troiano, Todd Trubee, Chip (Elainia) Trubee, Pattie (Ron) Glass and David (Darlene) Trubee; she had 18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter; she is also survived by three sisters, Arlene Large, Mercedes Gabriel and Pat Noggle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Freda was a waitress in the Marion area for over 50 years. She loved going to flea markets and yard sales and was an avid Elvis fan. Freda and her identical twin sister, Greta, loved to play jokes on people pretending to be each other, but the biggest joy of her life though was being a mom and having all her family together.
