Eula V Jones *

March 31, – Nov. 2, CITY Eula Veon was born in Lapoint, UT to and Cora on March 31, 1926. She was one of six children in a large, loving family. Eula married Carl Eldon Jones in 1948. Eula and Carl moved to Oklahoma in 1950, where they built a beautiful family with their four sons and one daughter. Eula began her teaching career in 1964 and taught 1st grade for 23 years. She had a passion for teaching children, particularly reading and piano. She loved to quilt, sew and cook. She found great joy in serving our Savior, Jesus Christ, in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Saints and working in the temple. She spent many, many years behind the piano serving children in Primary. She loved spending time with and was adored by many lifelong friends. Eula was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; husband, Carl Jones; son, Rusty Jones; and daughter, Cheryl . What a loving reunion she is now having with them in heaven! She is survived by children, Clark & Barbara Jones; Casey Jones; Jones; and son-in-, Don Hickey; grandchildren, Trent Hickey, Tana Cordy, Kara McDaniel, Julie Jones, Christopher Jones, Riley Jones, Timothy Jones, and Kenneth Jones; as well as great-grandchildren. Viewing will be Sunday, 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. with family present 4-6 p.m. at Mercer-Adams Chapel, Bethany. Services will be on Monday, Nov. 7, 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 12020 Mustang Rd., Yukon, with interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
