Ella Mosby *
Caseyville, Illinois – Ella Elaine Mosby, 72, of Caseyville, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022. She was born on January 18, 1950 in East St. Louis to Russell and Helen (Smith) Knight. She married Kenneth J. Mosby December 15, 1989 in Edwardsville. Ella had a passion for crafting. She especially enjoyed scrapbooking and making ornaments. This past year she made over 200 ornaments for her Christmas tree and friends and family. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Kenny Mosby; children, Melanie (Rick) Jones, Glenn (Erica) Knight, Nikki (Sam) Mosby and Dustin Mosby; grandchildren, Nick Knight, Richard (Jessica) Jones, Kayla (Adrian) Fuentes, Hailey (Casey) Shockey, Taylor (Glyn) Rozzell, Gage Jones, Allayna Jones, Landon Mosby and Piper Mosby; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Julie (Vernon) Parmley and Sharilyn Lyerla. Predeceased by her parents; son, Larry Jason Wheat; brother, Russell Knight and sister, Dianna Bales.
Private family graveside service will be held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
