Danyal Furr *
LIMA — Danyal Furr, 45, passed late April 30, 2022 at St. Rita’s Medical Center. She was born August 25, 1976 in Lima, Ohio to Vicky Wireman-Smith who preceded her in death, and Roger Smith who survives in Lima.
Danyal was a firecracker like her momma. She enjoyed listening to country music, binge watching Little House on the Prairie. She was always determined not to miss an episode of Days of Our Lives. She also loved Mickey Mouse, spoiling her dog “Baby Girl” and most of all spending time with her family.
Danyal is married to her childhood best friend, Clint Furr who survives in Lima, Ohio. Survivors also includes her son, Skyler Furr of Lima; two daughters, Aleena Furr and Rickie (Evan) Wilkerson, both of Lima; two grandsons, Wyatt Wilkerson and Bennett Wilkerson of Lima; a brother, Roger (Cora) Smith of Lima; two sisters, Dolly Smith and Sharlet Wireman of Lima; mother-in-law, Linda Shockey of Waynesfield, OH; three sisters-in-law; and two brothers-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edna and Willard Wireman of Gunlock, KY and Inez and James Smith of Lima; fathers-in-law, Robert Furr of Lima and Mike Shockey of Waynesfield; step-sister, Mandy Triplett of Lima; and niece, Crystal Lynn Wireman of Lima.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Rev. Larry Molaski will officiate. Burial will follow at Ward Cemetery, Lima.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
