Harold V. Moon
Harold Vance Moon, 43, Collins Avenue, Hillsboro, was found dead in a cell at the county jail early Friday morning by other prisoners. Dr. Ronald Gustin, deputy county coroner, said that death was apparently due to a heart attack. He estimated the time of death at about 2 A.M. Friday.
He was born in Ohio on June 20, 1923, the son of Norman Vance Moon and Dency Shockey Moon.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Norman Moon, Hillsboro; five children, Linda Stout, Dayton, Sandra, Patty, David, and Robert, all of Hillsboro; and one sister, Mrs. Annabel Lewis, Hillsboro.
Services were held Monday at 2 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home, with Dr. Paul Jones officiating and burial following in Hillsboro Cemetery.
