Peggy May Lytton, age 92, of New Orleans, Louisiana passed away on Thursday July 20 at her home. She was born on September 13, 1930, in Cleveland, Ohio to Joseph J. and Catherine A. (nee Treaster) Griffith. Peggy worked as a secretary / bookkeeper for several manufacturing companies in Cleveland. She thoroughly enjoyed Strawberry Milkshakes, people watching, meeting new people, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Known as Gramma Peggy or Aunt Peg, she was loved by all. She is survived by her daughter, Dawn (Tim) Jones; grandchildren Marissa Hines (Derrick Tubbs) of St Francisville, Louisiana, Joshua Hines of Biloxi, Mississippi; Great-Grandchildren, Kowen Tubbs, Teagan Tubbs, and Hadley Tubbs; and her brother, Paul Griffith of North Olmsted, Ohio. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Catherine Griffith; son, Keith Hunter; sister, Gladys Siebert; her brother, Jim Griffith; and her sister, Joan Shockey. A private family memorial will be held later. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.
