Mark D Snyder
Mark Dwayne Snyder, age 57 of Fisher, WV, passed away Saturday evening, December 3, 2022, at his residence with his wife and son at his side. Born on July 3, 1965, in Leesburg, VA, he was a son of the late Clyde Wendelene Snyder and Evelyn JoAnn Hedrick Snyder.
Mark was a 1983 graduate of Moorefield High School, was a US Army veteran and a member of the Calvary Baptist Temple. An outdoorsman, Mark enjoyed fishing, canoeing, and hunting but to say his favorite activity would be to go mushroom hunting. Along with his sisters, he sang to the Glory of God and had an insatiable thirst of praising Jesus.
Surviving is his wife, Tracy Lee Brady Snyder; three sons, Marcus Snyder of Moorefield, WV, Alex Snyder & Daniel Snyder of Midway, GA; two daughters, Catherine (Ryan) Kimble & Faith Ann Snyder of Moorefield, WV; a brother, Earl (Debbie) Snyder of Petersburg, WV; four sisters, Stacy (Jerry) Simmons of Petersburg, WV, Stephanie Vance of Fisher, WV, Cortina Barr of Moorefield, WV, and Amy (Wes) Shockey of Fisher, WV; five grandchildren and so many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday, December 8, 2022, at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with Pastor Steve Snyder officiant. Interment will follow with Military Graveside Rites accorded by the US Army and the Moorefield Veteran’s Honor Guard in the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends 4 – 7 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
