Karen Conn *
Karen Conn, 66, passed away on March 22nd, 2024. She was born May 10th, 1957.
Karen was a devoted wife, mother, grammy, aunt, and friend who fiercely loved and provided for her family. Her children remember her days of owning her own hair salon, taking them camping, loading up their Chevette beyond capacity to make it to the pool, and the endless big family cookouts. Her grandkids remember their Grammy riding around with the windows down singing ‘Love Shack’, never missing a sports game or dance recital, making the best full breakfast spread on Saturday mornings, making pallets on the floor to spend the night with Grammy and Papa, and always being the life of the party. She truly held the magic to make Christmas such a fun and memorable time for her family. She will be deeply missed and loved by her family and community. Her shackles have finally been broken free!
Karen is survived by her mother, Judy Black; her daughter, Tina Miller; her grandchildren through Tina include Shelby (Michael) Geissman, Billy (Hona) Rush, and Victoria Rush; her great-grandchildren through Tina, Charlotte Rush and Josiah Rush; her daughter, Heather (Marcos) Kraus; her grandsons through Heather, Devin (Aleyda) Shockey and Kevin Shockey; her daughter, Stefanie (Daniel Congdon) Conn; her granddaughter through Stefanie, Lillyann Congdon; her son, Bobby (Carissa St. Germaine) Conn Jr.; her granddaughter through Bobby Jr., Aria McGowan; her daughter-in-law, Jennifer Mosier; her granddaughter through Jennifer, Ema Miller; her sibling, Ralph Miller.
Karen is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Conn; her father, Ralph Miller; her brothers, Tom and Dean Miller; and her sister, Janet Miller.
There will be a visitation and funeral service on Monday, April 1st, 2024 at Mt. Pleasant Christian Fellowship. The visitation is from 2:00pm to 4:00pm with the funeral service to follow at 4:00pm.
