Clinton O. Shockey
CLINTON O. SHOCKEY , 66, of Edgewood, died at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday at Christ Hospital, Cincinnati. He was the sales manager for International Game Technology Co., Reno, Nev. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Hamilton, Ohio. He also was an avid fisherman. Survivors include his wife, Joan Liston Shockey; sons, Clint Shockey of Elsmere, Joe Shockey of Florence, Keith Shockey and Stan Shockey, both of Crestview Hills; a daughter, Kathy Groob of Villa Hills; brothers, Mick Shockey of Essex Junction, Vt., and Sam Shockey of Middletown, Ohio; sisters, Lois Murphy of Franklin, Ohio, Connie Weakle of Mercer City, Wis., Marilyn Vallandingham of Middletown, Ohio; and four grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, Ludlow. Visitation will be there from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice.
