Harriette B Shockey *
Harriette B. Shockey, 74, of 240 N.W. 78th Ave., Ankeny, died of emphysema Friday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. The body will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
Mrs. Shockey was born in Macomb, Ill., and had lived in Ames before moving to the Des Moines area in 1975. She had worked for the Ohio Department of Transportation.
She is survived by two daughters, Sandy Hammond of Wooster, Ohio, and Cindy Vander Maten of Fort Dodge; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation. Arrangements are being handled by Hamilton‘s Funeral Home.
