Terry L Lewis *
Terry Lee Lewis, age 57 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Saturday evening, June 22, 2024, at his residence. Born on November 17, 1966, in Petersburg, WV, he was a son of Carrie Kuykendall Lewis of Old Fields, WV and the late Donald Lee Lewis.
A graduate of Moorefield High School in 1985, Terry dedicated nearly four decades of his life to Hester Industries. A lover of the great outdoors, he found solace in the tranquility of hunting and the excitement of fishing. Playing as a competitive bowler at the local alley, Terry skillfully aimed for strikes, bringing smiles to those who joined him.
Surviving in addition to his mother is a sister, Tammy (Rob) Parker of Baker, WV, and several nieces, a nephew and great nieces.
Quiet yet jovial, Terry’s heart always delighted in the company of his family, especially his adored nieces and nephew – Alicia (Justin), Brittany, Jessica, and Brandon and great-nieces, Adalynn and Jerrika. In the midst of life’s adventures, Terry treasured these moments of togetherness, embracing the innocence and joy that children bring.
Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with Pastor D. J. Taylor officiant. Following the service, Terry will be laid to rest at the Bethel Cemetery in Old Fields, WV, surrounded by the beauty of nature he loved. Friends and family will share memories, offering comfort and support to one another from 5 – 7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
The spirit of Terry’s life will continue to shine brightly, connecting hearts in remembrance and celebration of a life well-lived.
