Mrs. Eliza J. Shockey
MRS. ELIZA J. SHOCKEY, 81 years old wife of Daniel Shockey is dead at her home five miles west of this city. She was a pioneer resident of the county and one of the best known women. Besides the husband she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Miranda Wolf of Gas City and three children, Nelson Shockey, county assessor living in Marion, Mrs. Purr Weaver, residing near Sweetser and Mrs. John Scott of near Fairmount. Burial will be in Maple Grove cemetery.
