Fayetteville – John T. Nugen, 88, of Fayetteville died Monday morning at his home after a long illness. Born Nov. 20, 1886, at Fayetteville, he was a son of the late Samuel and Margaret Nugen. He was a retired construction worker and farmer, a member of the Baptist Church and a veteran of World War I. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Pattie Ann Shockey Nugen; two sons, John S. of Lesage and Pat Nugen of Fayetteville; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Davis of Fayetteville, and three grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Dodd-Payne Funeral Home chapel at Fayetteville with Rev. C. S. Donnelly in charge. Burial will be in Huse Memorial Park at Fayetteville. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today.
